लहरों से डर कर नौका पार नहीं होती,

नन्हीं चींटी जब दाना लेकर चलती है,
चढ़ती दीवारों पर, सौ बार फिसलती है।
मन का विश्वास रगों में साहस भरता है,
चढ़कर गिरना, गिरकर चढ़ना न अखरता है।
आख़िर उसकी मेहनत बेकार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।


डुबकियां सिंधु में गोताखोर लगाता है,
जा जा कर खाली हाथ लौटकर आता है।
मिलते नहीं सहज ही मोती गहरे पानी में,
बढ़ता दुगना उत्साह इसी हैरानी में।
मुट्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

असफलता एक चुनौती है, इसे स्वीकार करो,
क्या कमी रह गई, देखो और सुधार करो।
जब तक न सफल हो, नींद चैन को त्यागो तुम,
संघर्ष का मैदान छोड़ कर मत भागो तुम।
कुछ किये बिना ही जय जय कार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की कभी हार नहीं होती।

मुंबई। मुंबई में २६/११/२००८ की रात आतंकियों ने इस बार जिस तरह हमले को अंजाम दिया, वैसा पहले कभी नहीं किया था। ऐसे टार्गेट चुने, जहां हमला कर वे सीधे दुनिया भर की नजर में आ सकते थे। साथ ही, हताहतों की संख्या भी अच्छी-खासी हो सकती थी। स्टेशन, फाइव स्टार होटल, कालेज जैसे टार्गेट चुनने का यही मकसद था।
साथ ही, इस बार आतंकी पहली बार आत्मघाती हमलावर के रूप में जहां-तहां अंधाधुंध फायरिंग की और धमाके भी किए। यहां तक कि ५ सितारा होटलों में घुस कर उन्होंने वारदात को अंजाम दिया और मेहमानों को बंधक भी बना लिया। आतंकवाद का यह रूप भारत ने संभवत: पहली बार देखा है। यह आतंकवाद से लड़ रही सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के लिए नई चुनौती है।
